Two things: First, the way Julien is with camera angles and color corrections is the way I am with overly convenient plots and contrived dialogue. I just got a degree in Creative Writing, so I notice things like that. My boyfriend is not nearly as supportive as Jenna when I feel compelled to point things out. Second, I feel about the Super Mario Brothers movie the way Julien feels about Jingle All the Way. As a kid? Loved it. Watched it over and over and over again. Had a crush on John Leguizamo. Quoted the movie with my sister. As an adult? I cringe.

Ahhhh! Just days before 2020, when we had NO IDEA the how F'ed up the world was going to turn! This just reminds me how much I need Jenna in these dark days... I really hope she returns to You Tube one day and it brings her joy.

That being said she will be welcomed back with open arms if she decides to return... and if she doesn’t I’m so happy I discovered the both of you and the last few years. Very late to this but like... y'all ever go on AO3?? If you sort by length, the top few are in the 4 million range. You don't get down to the upper edge of 600k until halfway down the 17th page (at 20 stories per page). Some of my favorite stories in existence are fanfiction, some of which aren't even written about fandoms that I'm a part of
